Read the criteria
Every area page sets out what studies in it ask about and what tends to rule people out. Nothing is summarised away, because the summarised version is the one that wastes your time.
See what it asks forThe order is the whole point. Most routes into research take your details and then look; this one looks and then, only if there is something worth it, asks.
Nothing here is automated away. Where a person is involved, it says so, and where nobody is, it says that too.

See what it asks forAnswer what the studies actually ask. It runs in your browser against the published criteria — no account, no name, no number, nothing sent anywhere.
See what it asks forIf you fall outside, the check names the line you missed. If you fall inside, it shows the visit schedule and the travel before it asks you for anything.
See what it asks forOnly if you choose to go ahead do your details go anywhere, and then to one research site for one study. The team there screens you and takes consent in person.
See what it asks forNot for the check, not for being put forward, not for anything else. We do not take card details and there is no account to upgrade.
That is the whole business model, and we would rather state it than have you wonder. It does not change what the criteria say or how the comparison runs.
Many pay for time and travel, and early-phase studies often pay more. That comes from the study, is set by the study, and is nothing to do with us.
